    Yari tayo dyan

I believe the KAFTA (or AKFTA) will not really "lower" the prices on Hyundai models' prices. I am assuming that it will just give a breathing room for the parent company (Hyundai Korea) to minimize or stop subsidizing HARI which made its product prices in the Phil. market, very competitive (sub 1M Tucson, etc.).

Funny thing is, this Free trade agreement has already been in existence since probably 2006, aimed to ELIMINATE tariffs on goods and services, though AFAIK starting Jan 2012, tariffs should be down to less than 20% if I remember correctly.. SO dapat bumaba pa yung price UNLESS HARI for whatever reason has access to less than 20% tariffs as early as around 2010.

OR, HARI is being heavily subsidized in the past few years by Hyundai as a means to gain market share (I doubt, capitalism ho!).

But then again, inflation is a big factor unless locally made ang units. So magulo talaga haha.
Btw please take the information above with a grain of salt, di ko mahanap yung source eh.
