Grand Starex rotor discs replaced 3X after 18K odo only! What gives?

for me warped rotor/ bengkong materials yan. sub standard lang siguro ang bakal na ginamit.
before I thought baka nga gawa nang kina carwash ko after a trip. pero what naman in a long trip biglang umulan tapos nagamit tayo ng break, dba nababasa din yun. So washing your car after a long trip should not be the culprit.

gd pm. yung nakuha ko na 2011 gs 4 wheel disc brake na. pardon me, pero pa explain naman kung ano yung rotor disc na pinalitan nyo and ano ang naging problem pag nag warp, and how do i know if magkaron ako ng ganung problem? mawawalan ba ng preno? or may maingay pag nag brake? thanks

yan po ang parang plato na iniipit ng brake pads kapag ang brake caliper piston ay nag actuate when you press the brake pedal. Vibration when braking ang symptom kapag warp ang disc. Bad quality brake pad ay isa sa mga culprit nito. HTH.

GS TCi lang ang hindi naka 4-Wheel Disc Brakes.

AFAIK

sa front disc lang prone to warping because of the weight of the vehicle is shifted to front when braking, thus more grip is needed thus more heat thus mor prone to warping

thats why mas malaki ang frond disc pad kesa sa likod

yung rear rotor disc wala naman problem

that also the reason why dumihin front wheels ng GS

replace our GS rotor disc 2X already, A/T unit namin and i admit hataw mode lagi and always hard braking.

Where do you get your rotor disc replaced? Do you buy your replacement rotor discs sa CASA or somewhere else? Where?

I see the Starex's braking woes are still back even with the newer GS.

Our 2005 Gen 3 doesn't have ABS, and its brakes, all OEM pads and rotors, don't seem to be adequate enough for its power. And yes, have had to machine the front rotors twice now, and that's only with 23,500 kms on the clock.

Mahina ba ang brake bite ng GS?
