Anybody knows where to get a CRDI turbo repair kit?
Its for a 1.5 CRDI Matrix.
Pareho lang yan ng taxi diba? Sa dami ng taxi na crdi wala pa ba repair kit for that?
The closest I got was a 50K Brand new turbo.
Thanks!

Thanks.
I got the quote of 50K sa seirings for the brand new turbo.
Diesel King - hindi sila gumagalaw ng turbo.
I need the repair kit ng turbo. Saan kaya meron? Mahal ang bagong turbo kasi. Hindi rin naman pwedeng mga aftermarket turbos. It will involve pa alot of customization and tuning so masmahal malamang and maging masmaarte pa yun.
Sa dami ng accent crdi taxis walang pa ba repair kit ng turbo dito?

There are places that rebuild turbos. Even VGT ones. Last I heard, 30k.
You have to take it to a specialist. You can't just buy a kit and do-it-yourself. Maselan yung bearings ng turbo, and if you don't balance the assembly right on rebuilding it, it'll shred itself to pieces once it spools up.
Do you trust yourself to assemble a turbo to milligram balances, accurately enough for it to spool up to 80,000 rpms without issue?
Ang pagbalik ng comeback...

Saan ba yan? Could you recommend one? 30K laking mura na yan vs 50K. I hope my warranty naman.
Thats why I'm asking here, I'm looking for parts na and yun cost of repair so moreorless prepared ako.
Unang balak ko kasi sa casa eh. Schedule this monday na. Padiagnose ko muna. Just to make sure sa turbo ang prob. My own assumption is sira ang turbo. Aside from no power, may rattle sound sa turbo mismo. It still runs pero ayaw ko na pa start baka lumala pa.

November 12th, 2011 03:24 PM #7Aside from the turbo rebuilding bro niky mentioned, 50k for a turbo replacement seems pretty reasonable. Since VGT pa naman yan, I find it actually to be kinda cheap na eh. We replaced our Trooper's turbo for a surplus (but unused) unit a few years back for 50k and that was an ordinary wastegate turbo. Sabi daw kapag casa it can go as high as six digits. Pakita mo nalang muna siguro kung gaano kalala ang turbo mo to see if it is more feasible to repair or replace.

Goodluck..

Six digits... I'll try to look for a specialist na lang. Piyesa talaga concern ko sana meron.
Parang maspractical ba bumili na lang ng 2nd hand matrix crdi ulit. The unit is a flooded zombie btw. Kaya I'm kinda expecting this lahat ng bearings papaltan pati turbo. Iba talaga yan ondoy hanggang ngayon napapagastos padin ako.
