i also have the same bad experience with PEOPLE'S GENERAL INSURANCE...never ever attempt to buy insurance from them!!! nabangga yung Mitsubishi Adventure ko which is 2 years old by that time...dinala ko siya sa casa ng Mitsubishi Jabez...ni minsan hindi yan na-"inspect" sa service center ng People's tapos bigla na lang binigyan kami notice via email na TOTAL WRECK ang sasakyan namin...sila pa ang matatapang at hindi kami pansinin ng hindi namin kinagat ang offer nila...nagfile ako ng complain sa IC at kung hindi kami nagkita ni CLAIMS MANAGER REYNALDO SANTOS sa harap ni Atty. Joseph Osias ng IC hindi nila kami kakausapin...our first meeting was 3 MONTHS AFTER THE ACCIDENT at hindi man lang sila nakipag-communicate sa amin pagkatapos na i-turn down namin ang barat nilang offer para sa sasakyan at ideclare ito na total wreck...2 WEEKS after the hearing bumalik kami sa IC at ang humarap na sa amin ay si ADJUSTER HOWARD na wala ring kwentang kausap...nagsinungaling pa sa harapan ng mediator na ginagawa na daw ng Mitsubishi ang car namin...right in front of his face tumawag kami sa Jabez at tinanong kung ginagawa na ang car...ang sagot sa amin ng taga-Jabez "hindi honored ang LOA nila dahil wala namang pirma at walang evaluation ng sasakyan"... o di huli pa tuloy siya na ginuguyo niya lang ang mediator? yang PEOPLE's na yan mabilis lang sa panggogoyo ng client nila para kunin ang insurance nila at napakabilis kumuha ng premium ha tapos pagdating ng claim naglalaho na silang parang bula...4 months na ngayon sa casa ang sasakyan namin at nung buksan ng mitsubishi at people's ang sasakyan namin 2 weeks ago HINDI DAPAT I-TOTAL WRECK ANG CAR dahil repairable naman at nasa labas lang ang problema...BEWARE OF REYNALDO SANTOS, ADJUSTER HOWARD AT YUNG SECRETARY/STAFF NA SI ABIGAIL...at nung nasa IC kami first hearing...3 kaming nagrereklamo at mukhang kasabay namin yung na-carjack ang car na nandito sa thread..nung 2nd hearing namin..2 naman kaming nagrereklamo against PEOPLE'S GENERAL INSURANCE...i could imagine they have complaints and hearing daily in Philippine Insurance Commissions office....kapag ganyan kadami na ang mga case ng insurance dapat yatang di na binibigyan yan ng license at tanggalin na rin ang business permit..kaya sa mga nag-iisip ng renewal ng insurance nila better if you will get from a trusted bank...

nakakapagtaka lang po kasi ang IC..sa loob ng isang araw 3-6 cases ang hearing nila against people's general..eh bakit until now may license to operate pa rin sila? pansin nga po namin na close na yung mga representative ng people's sa mga mediator ng IC..sensya na po sa IC..

I had a bad experience sa Peoples General Insurance Corp. Ayaw na daw nila ng me "Act of God" sa comprehensive ko since matatapos na raw ang mortgaged plan ko sa bank. . .ngek!!! They invited me to continue the plan with them, pinagawa ako ng cheke, nag effort pa na pumunta doon .. sana sinabi na lang over the phone nung iniinvite pa lang.. Wlang kwentang kausap. .

Kaya dapat talaga if you bought a car today make it worthwhile.Imagine the price of an entry level SUV today at 1.2M with an insurance premium of 50k+ or divide this by 12 = 4k a month sa income mo. Tapos ganyan pa pahirapan sa claims, ayaw pa nila pagawa sa Casa, kundi sa taller of your choice.

minsan tuloy iniisip ko it's not worth to insure a 1M car. but of course insure 3rd party liability as well as your own welfare Kung aksidente, but the car itself don't. Take the risk, it's only 1M anyway, the same amount you invest in a risk business or a stock option na puwde mawala lahat. In a business, pwede ka invest 1M and then ma-debt ka pa for trying to protect that 1M investment, sa stocks pag ni-leverage mo say 1M Lang pers tapos nag margin call ka ng 3M, you can easily lose all and be indebted pa ng 2M.

Eh sa Tsikot ang mawawala Lang sayo 1M worth of your car. But imagine average of 40k / month sa original 50k insurance mo. If you hold your car for 5 years, you paid additional 200k for it, or 20% more of your original investment.

    -----

Grabe ngaun noh, the banks securitize your loans on top of your receivables and package it as CDOs or Mutual Funds or ETFs, tapos may 50k extra pa sila Panlaro pa per car buyer. Kaya pala ayaw na tumanggap ng mga Casa ngaun ng cash payment unless they need bridge financing or something for a lean month, eh kasi nga parang investment bank na ang mga Casa

People's General Insurance is going to the dumps together with its incompetent personnel. Karma is catching up with them. buti nga sa inyo.

I received a text message from a person named Zhyrus from People's General Insurance offering me to insure my car with them as my policy is expiring soon. How did he know my number? Luckily, I saw this thread and the reviews from their clients. Thanks for the heads up, everyone. This thread saved me from headaches as I will avoid them like the plague!
