Ingat lang sa Hancars. I'd take a closer look at how they install the HU and other electrical accessories. Panay splicing lang ang gawa nila. Ayaw gumastos sa harness.

you mean, their HUs and other electrical toys are not factory-installed accessories?

have there been instances of un-splicing?
kung tama naman ang connections, and soldered and wrapped well enough... and the job is hidden away from view... and the accessory does function as advertised...

of course, buyer should be advised, what it is that they are buying...

My previous starex hvx was bought from hancars. Di naman nagka problem sa electricals.

Ganyan din naman if sa banawe magpakabit ng aftermarket HU.

my dad would have had a fit, had he seen their handiwork.
he believed, that all splices must be soldered, then insulated well with tape.

i am unhappy over the guys who replaced the oem altis radio, with another brand.
it doesn't light up along with the park lights.
this was before i purchased the car.
apparently, the previous owner wasn't too OB-C about those things.
i am passively looking for a good surplus oem, to get it back to original dash.

But I doubt that this new Staria will have its HU, or any component for that matter, be replaced by Hancars.
