Perhaps in the highway, yes. But in city driving, I doubt it will make much of a difference since it hardly ever gets past 4th gear really.

9km/L is very good. What kind of route, driving style and traffic conditions gets you this kind of fuel consumption?

9km/L ph traffic is actually very good. Im getting that kind of mileage in the city with my 2013 santa fe with econ mode on.

based on cebu traffic, oout side city will have slight fc improvement but not much, wala dito expressway.

I bought a 2018 Kia Sportage with the same engine as the Sta. Fe (R type, 2.0 vs 2.2). Even in ECO drive mode, I doubt if you can get good fc within city limits. Those short bursts of acceleration, even with mild traffic, consumes more fuel than cruising at 5th or 6th. If the Sta Fe has that bar guage at the cluster panel, youÂ’d see how open the throttle is at acceleration & when idling.
