I dont see the fuss regarding Accent as taxi. Any brand or model can be a taxi from benz all the way to Yugo brand. Except Honda. Maganda ang white, it gives an illusion of a bigger car.

But if have an Accent illtake Bronze, then red. Sana they bring in the blue. Or better yet the yellow so the taxi company doesnt have to repaint it.

Btw, taxi ba talaga yung Accent sa picture? Kasi diba bawal tint sa taxi. Muhkang naka light tint yung Accent sa picture and wala "taxi" sign on top. Or na imagine lang ng mga tsikoteer na taxiyun kasi yellow dealership plates.

drove one yesterday. a friend was able to get one of the first batch and it was a white 1.4 M/T. the ride was nice, the interior looks good. most notable is nakalagay na yung digital meter with receipt despenser and wala tint. antay nalang ata yung iba docs then ready na to serve the public. medyo nalungkot ako na gagawin syang taxi, probably one of the first ones pero i find peace knowing that the supply and demand will make for affordable spare parts in the future.

Any update on the real FC for the 1.4 m/t city driving?(metro mla.) I know the autoindustriya review said the 1.6 a/t can get 12km/l city driving, can anyone/owners of the 1.6 a/t back up this claim?

I remember someone posted before their FC city driving is only 8-9km/l for the 1.4m/t. I don't which data/figures to believe. Please add your inputs and feedback. Thanks in advance peeps!!

first time i saw 1 here yesterday afternoon while going home, a white accent...

much much better than the Mazda 2 and fiesta.

hi. ive logged 2k kms. 8.5-12kms/li pure city (pasig to manila) driving. 1-4passengers. mod-severe traffic, aircon on, normal (54-pesos-per-liter) driving habit

Sa New Accent 1.4 M/T ko..was 8.9L/100km..is it 11.2km/liter kung idevide ko ito..tama po ba computation ko.kaso it was my second full tank..kasama na dito ang city driving at nong ibreak in ko ito sa C5 to SLEX to Star Tollway.
Yun kasing first full tank di ko nakwenta dahil naiwan ko ang Bronze Accent ko sa SM Taytay Free Parking na umaandar ..naiwan ko ang dalawang susi sa loob na umaandar ang engine,aircon,radio at headlight..so naglamay kami ng mrs ko magdamag hanggang sa dumating kinabukasan ang Hyundai Technician para sungkitin ang susi.So di ko macompute yun dahil di naman sya tumatakbo.
Ewan ko kuya Starex Gold kung tama ang computation ko..pero sa halaga ng gasolina per liter ngayon..hehhehe may bagay na ....kaya iwas trapik na lng talaga.
Any suggestion na lang po para mkatipid tayo sa kunsumo habang nasa crises tayo ngayon..pa share na lang po.
Jump na rin ako sa New Accent na ginagawang taxi..para don sa mga nagpaplano pang kumuha although lam ko na medyo limited ang dating ngayon as per my SA told me..wag na lang kayong kumuha ng WHITE para di kayo maunsyami kung may makatabi kayo sa STOP LIGHT na New Accent na taxi..marami naman pagpipilian..

para sa akin pinakamagandang kulay ang white sa accent, kaya lang nagmukhang taxi yung accent sa pics e dahil sa palpak na yellow vanity plate at yellow sticker ng hyundai e.rod, samahan pa ng apat na itim na bilog sa bumper, kanina lang tumingin ako sa isang dealer, magkakatabi tatlo, color red, bronze and white, angat na angat ang ganda ng white, wag lang malagyan ng kung anu anong borloloy.
