Ang tanong is... Sana bga tama ang info ni SG.. At mali ang SA na nagsabing bare yung AT version ng 1.4...

I think the 1.4 A/T * P688k is not that bare. basta may safety features cya, pasado na sakin yun, kaso nga lang, gusto ko 1.4 M/T with safety features! sabi daw ni Sir SG eh, pag uusapan pa. Looking forward for the positive news later on. I know madami rin ang preference ay M/T kahit na very competitive na ung P688k na A/T, so a rough estimate kung sakaling magka 1.4M/T is P668(?) wooot!

hindi bare yan sigurado kasi 100k ang dagdag eh. kung 40k lang dinagdag pwede pa bare malamang. pero 100k ang layo masyado eh so AT yan plus etc. etc.

The 1.4L base model was in Trinoma again courtesy of Hyundai Quezon Ave./Commonwealth (isa lang may ari nyan, kakatwa nga the SA have Hyundai Quezon Ave. in their uniforms pero mga kotse nila Commonwealth)

pwede po bang magtanong medyo OT at napaka-newbie na tanong...

pwede ba paki-enlighten ako why some folks prefer AT while othrs prefer MT..

Ive been driving for 20 years (im not that old naman, just driving seen i was a teen.. hehe) e puro manual mga cars namin. I do drive AT once in a while sa mga friend's or relative's vehicles during long trips .

Now I will be buying a new car people are convincing me to get AT kasi with city traffic daw e mas ok AT, etc etc.. At naisip ko para nga naman maiba naman..hehe. But then I wouldnt mind getting another manual (lalo na if malaki price diff).

Can u tell me why u prefer manual over AT? Alin mas matipid sa gasolina? I hear mas mahirap ba mag overtake or umakyat (say climb to Baguio or steep parking buildings) if AT? Mas mahal ba maintenance or mabilis masira if AT? (I also heard pag tumirik di pwedeng itulak at kadyutin, unlike manual? tama ba to?)

Sensya na sa newbie questions.. wala akong alam sa ATs e.. hehe

Para naman it can help me decide what to get...

pabago bago na rin kasi isip ko.. una Accent 1,4 manual... then i thought pwede rin 1.6 AT Blue although laki ng price diff... then sabi ko I will wait for crdi... and then now meron daw na 1.4 AT with special features... hehe ang gulo talaga pero masaya..

Ako A/T, DCT, CVT WHY? Try driving at EDSA with a manual (with a third pedal called clutch) at 6PM during weekdays (Fridays are perfect)... And after doing that you now know WHY?

slight OT: Strong contender talaga cya ng FIESTA (at least for me).

looking forward for the HATCH! If totally flat when the rear seats are folded, it would be a ++10points for me.

* kyleryner - Im not an expert when it comes to cars. Pero personal preference ko lang ang MT. I don't mind pag traffic, nasanay na lang din ako sa M/T kahit lagi pa clutch clutch during stop and go. Sabhin na lang natin na mas madali i-maintain ang M/T than A/T, IMHO and though hindi naman ako makikipag karera, mas mabagal "daw" ang hatak ng A/T. The tsikot Experts can give us more technical comparisons here especially owners with both M/T and A/T cars.

guys yung 1.4 A/T po na accent is not bare as 1.4 M/T. naka 14in mags na sya, driver airbag, tilt adjust steering, alarm system, body color door handle etc... na post na din ata yung info na ito
