Is Hyundai going to release more variants besides the upcoming diesel and hatch models? Like perhaps a GLS variant with available A/T and more standard features to properly take on the Vios 1.3E? Sayang kasi, I've noticed there are many people who are interested in the Accent 1.4 but were turned off due to the barebones interior and lack of A/T.

I rather have a barebones unit but with a powerful CRDi.

Yes, but a loaded but still value-oriented midrange variant would be nice. Especially if they price it beneath the Vios 1.3E's price. Then no one's going to buy the Vios 1.3E and the Sentra 1.3GX anymore!

Hyundai's Accent variants are too extreme, one's high up and fully loaded and the other one is way down there.

I'm wondering why they put in only a 4at on the top of the line model, when they have great 6at's on the Tucson, etc.

nagpunta ko ng hyundai manila bay kanina...

nakita ko rin tong accent na to sa wakas hehe

na astigan ako dun sa height adjustable seats saka dun sa mahabang railings ng upuan pwedeng pwede sa different kinds of height...

masikip yung rear seat kapag nakatodo ang adjustment sa likod nung front seats...pero kung normal height naman yung sasakay sa harap it will be more than adequate naman...

with regards sa head room walang problema sa harap...ang problema yung sa likod...sa tuwing mag aadjust ako ng seating position tumatama ulo ko...

I'm only 5'7"...

yung interior ok naman din...maganda yung pinalit na fabric material and the seats are very firm like what is said earlier...then may bluetooth function na for handfree call...

yung steering wheel ok din kasi leather wrap...atleast hindi na cheap ang feel unlike the old accent...

yung pinaka impress ako besides the look is yung compartment space..grabe ang laakee!! kasya siguro tatlong tao..hehe

then the engine naman, well I wasn't able to start it kasi walang battery...but ang napansin ko lang...parang naka tilt palikod yung engine? talaga bang ganon? para kasing inde magandang tingnan eh...

Saw today the black display unit at hyundai sta. rosa. Looks really good in person. I agree with all the comments here regarding the car's interior. Hope to see the 1.4 MT version soon and wait muna ako sa mga first buyer's experience and comments before buying one.
