January 6th, 2011 04:08 PM #294if entry-level gas accent is 588K, then expect diesel accent M/T at +50K - 80K more or worst price scenario close to 700K. that's how they priced the gap of the gasoline getz and crdi getz
so apply this to top-of-the-line 808K accent sedan, then most probably the top of the line crdi accent sedan is a 100K more or 900K+
since most here are excited with the CRDi hatch, i doubt if they will introduce an entry level hatch as this was never the case with the Mz2 and Fiesta as well as the old Mz3 hatch
so expect +50K more for the hatch version of the top-of-the line crdi accent sedan, or P 950K
if it so happen that they introduce a MT crdi hatch, then that will be most probably priced at par with the top-of-the-line crdi A/T accent sedan at 900k
in other words, we'll all be expecting a smaller crdi accent hatch at the price of the existing i30 hatch that nobody seemed to buy bec. it's not value for money anymore

The regular price for the old style Accent CRDi is P690K, the model with power windows is priced at P700K.
Most are excited about models that are still considered non-existent.
Hyundai (worldwide) has not yet announced the diesel variant for the new Accent and it looks like the hatchback model (Verna hatchback) was developed for China.
The 5-door Verna was developed exclusively for the Chinese market and will go on sale there early in January. The 4-door variant was introduced last August.Last edited by AG4; January 6th, 2011 at 04:48 PM.
