It is the seller's prerogative to sell the car to whom ever he wants and how it is to be done. If you were really interested, you could have given him a deposit to hold the car for you. Otherwise, it's first come first served.
Now im back to square 1, now im really looking at the possibility of purchasing a brand new unit , ( the only thing holding me back is baka di makaya sa long run)
or bili nalang ng surplus na FIT dto ngayon, dami dto sa cebu ngayon
gaganda pa me mga naka orig pa na body kit, problem lang mas delikado
cz converted and again yung CVT issue, HAZZZZZ nid help guys
whats your take?
Im leaning towards buying a brand new 1,
Any inputs? thanks po
As for brand new, you can look at the Toyota Vios 1.3L M/T which starts at P590K.

Don't get surplus imports, you don't really know how was it converted or how was it used. Some may be perfect in terms of it's conversion but some are really suckish that could lead you to much more expensive repairs.
re: brand new vehicle.
yes it's better to have a brand new one. but, check your finances first if you really can pay it, because if you don't you'll just be seeing your car being pulled out of your garage for the reason that you couldn't pay it anymore.
if you are sure with your finances then go for it.
if you're quite unsure of it, better if you opt for a second hand local-made vehicle.
