December 18th, 2009 09:37 AM #1I just got a 99 honda SIR. Im new driver kaya dami question in mind.
One of which is the right shifting timing. Sabi kasi ng dad ko upon hitting 2000rpm palit na ng gear (same to all gear level). So post naman says 2000-3000rpm. Which is which po, ofcourse fuel economy matters over acceleration and top speed. Thanks

December 18th, 2009 09:46 AM #2Yes sir tama lang yun 2000RPM to 3000RPm para tipid sa gas pero syempre kung overtake ka hindi na ganoon. And dont hit the VTEC range.

Kung tipid stage 2000-3000k rpm will do. Kapag iba naman ang trip aba eh, ibang usapan na yan.

pero i doubt pag naka experience ka ng vtec na laging 2-3k ka lang.
im not a guru ha. hehe.

2000 to 3000 rpm tipid mode . Practice ka lang madalas lalo na sa traffic mapapagaralan mo rin iyan depede sa sitwasyon ng traffic at luwag ng kalsada.
