    Good day sir/ma'am!

    I have a honda civic 2010 1.8s

here is my current setup with big frustration! grr

    HU: Pioneer AVH-285BT
    Sub Box 12": JBL GT5-12
    Coax (rear): Pioneer TS-G1615R
    Separates and Tweeters?: JBL GTO608C
    Amps for speakers: X12 MRV-F805
    Amps for sub: Lightninglab CL1850D
    Wiring Kit: MDK 8GA
    Capacitor: 2.0F

Here is my story.

So 1st disappointment yun. As long as I can remember, parang naka front lahat ng speakers. kasi front lang at sub ang nakasaksak sa HU. I believe, its supposed to have rear jacks as well?

2nd disappointment, naputol yung main fuse while turning the volume to 12 which is the max i think is 30 beyond. so pinalitan ko.

3rd disappointment, while listening at volume 10 for maybe around 10mins, biglang para sumabog yung tunog and beep sounds na lang naririnig, sakit sa tenga. so pinahinaan ko, wala parin. pinatay ko headunit, so ayun, pagka on ko ulit ng head unit, malakas na beep sounds na lang naririnig ko, no matter i do sa head unit. so parang sira na, wala pang dalawang araw.

and the biggest disappointment, kinaumagahan after nung pagpagawa ko, ang daming gasgas sa baba ng pintuan, yun bang step board, sa body mismo at pati yung plastic area. nakakadismaya.

btw, almost 60k lahat gasto ko with the headunit.

nakakainis. pero wala na ako magawa, kahit may warranty, parang ayoko na ibalik. experience na lang for being ignorant.

ang isa pang pinagtataka ko, yung deadening is yung trunk. i believe dapat naka deadening din yung doors at yung dun sa ilalim ng plastic dun sa may coax banda.

Now what I want to ask advise from you guys eh another whole sound setup. palit lahat.

i have another 50k budget, and can extend as long as quality.

or any that you think pulido gumawa. ayoko na maka experience ng ganito.

sabi nila maganda daw ground zero brand, shall i go with it? please guide me.

    thank you.

Boss sorry to hear that. For 50K you can contact Jeff Tan of Araneta Car Accessories.

I'll be harsh: you're experiencing problems as you plunged into something without prior research.

Okay, let's go over on what went wrong and how to improve on it.

    1st Disappointment
You have a 4-channel amplifier with 4 pairs of speakers (2 separate components in front, 2 coaxials at the back). Your head unit only has two RCA output of which one RCA output is connected to the "front" (X12 MRV amplifier) while the other is occupied by the "rear/sub" (LL CL1850D). So no, you do not have the luxury of having rear jacks because you only have 2 RCA outputs.
    - one of my theory on why you only hear the front is because the rear coaxials probably has their gain turned down. This simulates a "front" fade option as you can't use your fader normally due to it just having front and rear.
    - the "front" fade option is popular is because you aren't supposed to hear sounds at your back. If you walk into a concert, nasa harap mo dapat yun singer.. not at the back.

    2nd Disappointment
Either your installer didn't level match properly or he did and you weren't listening...
His fault: Your installer did not level match it properly and what you assume to be a huge overhead ("oh, I have until volume 30") is actually far less as any volume above X is already distorted.
Your fault: If he did level match and said that "X to Y is the only usable range".
    - You blew a fuse because your amplifier cannot handle the load given to it and you're stressing it out. Blowing a fuse is already a warning sign.

Aftermarket installation is more tricky than it sounds. Stock factory head units paired with stock speakers have no problem with you maxing the volume knob. Factory engineers already put that risk (somebody turning the volume knob all the way up) into account. Aftermarket installers? Not always so.

This is a tricky bag. Installers typically leave a volume headroom in the events you're playing a less dynamic track or want to just juke it out. For example, in my car I typically listen to stuff at 90% of the volume; the 10% is simply for those soft tracks or EDM tracks I really want to crank it up. And even if I crank it up, I'm pretty sure I won't be blowing a speaker or a fuse as my system can handle it. In your case, your installer is at fault as he provided a headroom that's too large and did not inform you of your usable volume limits.

    3rd Disappointment
And because you didn't heed the warning signs of a blown fuse, your amplifier probably went into protect mode or... worse, you probably damaged your speaker due to mechanically exceeding their limits.

For the deadening. How much did you pay? Assuming you strolled in the shop wanting bass, it's only natural for them to deaden your trunk where your subwoofer is located as this is the best answer to your bass wants.

If you paid Php60,000 for the entire setup, you've been had.. Why did the cost balloon upward? Because you failed to budget: You spread your budget over a lot of components and failed to prioritize. What's the most tell-tale sign of it? The fact that you paid for a capacitor which is utterly useless.

For your next setup, here are some general guidelines.
    1. Alamin mo muna standards mo. Each person has a different standard and expectation. Alamin mo kung ano gusto mo and pursue it.
    2. Choose three paths: SQ, LnC, SPL. Pick one, you can't have all three. Although looking from your post, you're at LnC.

Now, palit ba lahat ng gears? I wouldn't recommend that. Assuming all are in good condition and not damaged, recycle your..
    - JBL GT5-12
    - JBL GTO608C
    - LL CL1850D
    - Your wires assuming maganda yun binili mo and they're free from oxidation and corrosion

    3. If you plan to listen to good music without cranking it, retain your JBL GTO seps. If you plan to listen to loud music without much care of its quality, sell it and get raw drivers.
    4. Allocate a bigger chunk of your budget to your amplifier next time. Don't go for generic V12s.
    5. Wala sa brand ang "maganda", it's on your planning, installation, and tune.

maraming salamat sa mga advice mga sir.

yes, mostly fault ko, dahil wala ako masyado knowledge about it.

btw, LnC is Loud and Clear, tama? Yes, I want loud and clear but with a little punch of bass din sana.

sa mga humihingi ng shop name, ippm ko na lang. but please make it confidential. my case doesnt conclude their quality. maybe nasa akin ang fault.

Palagyan mo muna ng sound deadening at ipa-undercoating mo before ka magpasetup. Napakalaking trabaho nun. Pag walang deadening maganda yung sound pag nakatigil.
