Given the vehicle age consider replacing the radiator cap, upper and lower radiator hoses.
Using coolant mixture or distilled water only?
Timing belt kit outside CASA around 3-4k cguro, labor mga 1-2k.

Na solutionan na yung overheating problem ko. Binleed ko yung radiator ng todo todo tapos pinalitan ko na rin yung rad cap at rad fan.
Ayun, di na siya nag ooverheat basta mag drive ako reasonably.

August 21st, 2018 09:27 PM #84Bleeding the radiator was what fixed the issue. Replacing the rad cap and fan were just "bonuses" hehehe.
Yeah, I also think it shouldn't overheat even if driven unreasonably.
If my budget permits, I'll have its timing belt and water pump checked and replaced if needed.
For now, it does its job and it does it well. It takes me to and from my girlfriend's house without much worries hehehe.
