have the valves and tappets adjusted sa casa or sa forcedspeed. then clean the throttle body. mawala yan.
yung brakes, parang sisiw yung tunog? madumi lng yan. palinis mo. usually sa rear ang tumutunog ng ganun. else upod na yung pads sa front (or rear... or both...).
yung sa aircon either yung belt na nakalagay sa pulley (mahigpit), or yung bearing ng a/c compressor.
easy to solve lahat ng probs mo dude. congrats on the purchase.

The CEL (Check Engine Light) is also known as the Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL). The only way to know for sure what the exact problem is, is to have it diagnosed in a shop with a diagnostic tool (OBD scanner), like the casa or Speedyfix.
Either have it tightened or use a belt dressing spray.

Another EK owner. Good to hear that you bought that car. Here are some tips I can advise.
For the CEL problem, get a mechanic asap. Better be safe than sorry
Aircon problem whistling? Aircon pulley bearing. Have it replaced. 100+ lang yan.
Brake issue? Worn out pads or brakes need cleaning.

i was at honda quezon ave kahapon for PMS sa vti-s ko. although antagal ng inabot, i was surprised dun sa oil change nila... they use vtec lev 10w-30 sa regular oil change! at 850 petot, ang mura nun. sa iba yung 850 mo 20w-50 oil pa ang ilalagay eh.
damn. who uses 20w-50 oil these days? ang mahal na ng gasolina to use such a heavy oil...
oops OT sorry
