Civic will be coming from Thailand.

BR-V will come from Indonesia. Sales will commence there on January 2022, so it may launch here earliest Q2 2022.

They should really fast track this model. HCPI can easily recover lost market share with an all new Civic City BR-V lineup.

Size increased on all fronts. Similar to Xpander and gen1 Innova.

    2016 BR-V
    4453 x 1735 x 1666 WB 2662

    2022 BR-V
    4490 x 1780 x 1685 WB 2700

    Xpander
    4475 x 1750 x 1695 WB 2775

    First gen Innova
    4555 x 1760 x 1745 WB 2750

the new innova is 8 inches longer and 2 3/4 inches wider.
    our neighborhood streets are narrow.
this increase in size put on hold my plan on getting the new innova...
    i'm exploring other toyota alternatives...

dimensions are almost similar to the current gen Rush (except for the height)

big plus that the seats now fold flat.

Toyota Rush? Since TMP killed the Innova Gas variants already...

The Rush/Avanza would be the only wagonish vehicle to be not wider than the 1G innova in toyota's line up but its quite a bit narrower. The Avanza's competitors are closer to matching the innova's width though

Rush is narrower by 80mm, more than 3 inches which is a lot, add to that its poor ergonomics being based on the decade old Avanza.

Just a thought, this 2022 BR-V already matches the width and height of the 2nd gen 3-row CR-V (2002 - 2006 model) already, apart from the length and that's only due to the rear spare tire. Spiritual successor to the gen2 CR-V AUV edition.

With a bigger body, people should not expect wonders in fuel efficiency.
