go for d15b, for power and economy. mas matipid ang malaking makina, you dont have to push that pedal hard to gain acceleration. this is the main reason why sometimes, we can see kia cd-5s beating SiRs. they are fitted with mazda z5 DOHC engine. power to weight ratio. my 2 cents, go for the bigger one engine. mas matipid yan, power pa. hehehehe

why would you want to replace your engine in the first place? upgrade? get a newer car instead. sakit sa ulo pag ang engine swap kung di maayos ang workmanship, masayang lang ang pera mo. but if you have the money, go for it and get the k20 (if you can). and ofcourse, you will need to change the tranny, manifold, and etc. upgrading 1 or 2 step forward is not worth the time and money.

    go for d15b bro.

sometimes you dont have to change the whole car. just upgrading some parts would make a difference. there are some eg civics that are BETTER that the newer ones. oo mahirap mag pa engine change pero its more satisfying knowing you upgraded the car. mahirap nga pero along the way you'll learn something and mas ma appreciate mo yung sasakyan mo kesa sa palit ka ng palit. imho

it is gratifying if you will do it yourself. however, if you are going to have it done by a mechanic with a lousy job, you will end up with the bills you don't want to pay. it is not getting born with a silver spoon in your mouth but having the functioning brain to know what is practical is better.
