    shempre unahin yung mga leak and timing belt. kung mapigtas ito, tapos na career ng oto mo. hehe

    sa rad cap, ok lang kahit replacement basta 1.1 or 1.3 ok lang.

    one more po, i'll be buying a radiator cap replacement kasi sa LVC today or tomorrow eh. Nakalagay kasi dun sa wxisting radiator cap ko is 0.9. Sasabihin ko bah sa LVC eh 1.1 or 1.3? ano po bah tawag dun and anu ibig sabihin nung mga numbers na yun?

    yung number, yun yung pressure rating to release heat from the cooling system. with a high rating, mas matagal release yung heat pressure.

    ay, stock pa ba yung rad cap? hindi ko kasi alam rating ng city eh. sa oto ko kasi 1.1 yung stock. i thought all hondas have the same rating... yung gamit ko ngayon 1.3 kasi replacement lang. mas maganda kung stock lang kasi mas mabili wear and tear ng cooling system kung higher/lower pressure.

    that reminds me, kailangan ko pala palit ng rad cap.

    sir, tingin ko nga sira yung radiator cap ng honda city ko, kasi nung tinanggal ko yung cap and pinindot ko ciah, di na bumabalik yung spring, parang stcok up nah. to make sure eh kinuha ko yung radiator cap nung Ford Lynx ni ermats at pinindot ko yung cap, ayun, back and forth yung sprng. BUkas bibili na lang po ako ng replacement sa banawe. Ok lang po bah kung 1.1 yung bilin ko? yung nakalagay kasi sa city eh 0.9 eh.....not sure kung stock yung 0.9, pero since dadaan ako sa Honda Quezon ave. bukas, tatanong ko na din....

    Mga Sirs,


    Napapalitan ko na po ng Timing Belt, Tensioner, Water Pump, Valve Cover Gasket, Oil Pan Gasket, Crankshaft Oil Seal, Camshaft Oil Seal yung Honda City ko. Bale yung problem ko sa oil leak dun sa side ng Timing Belt at dun sa may dandang Valve Cover eh aus nah.......

    However, I noticed after two days, may sobrang liit na patak sa ilalaim banda po dun sa Oil Pan, pero isang patak lang po yun na konti lang, tingin nio mga sir, san po kaya ito galing??? eh kakapalit ko lang po kasi ng OIL Pan gasket. Di naman ciah alarming kasi nga sobra unti lang kaso lang eh nakakairita pa rin.....

    paunderwash ka para malinis yung mga natapon langis sa ilalim. then, after doing that, pag may napansin ka pa patak sa garahe, mas madali mo na masilip kung san nanggagaling uli. pero, most probably natapon langis lang yan sa ilalim nung nagpagawa ka, at hindi leak talaga.

Need help on my honda city lxi '98 (oil leaks, reservoir loosing water)
