    1. Castrol
    2. Mobil
    3. Kendal

The best yung honda ATF kase tumagal na wala grinding sound. Please note also na kung hindi Honda ATF gamit nyo, yung iba less than a year lang or a few thousand kms lang eh bumabalik yung grinding sound. Saka kelangan mga 2 or 3 times fill & drain bago mawala yung grinding.

    HTH.

mga tsong, ask ko lang sana what's your fuel consumption sa G1 nyo. pasencya if this question is outdated or bugbog na kc i just got my gen 1. it's burning at 8.5 kms/ltr. parang di ako maniwala ganun ya kalakas kc my gen 2 2004 na 4x4 din runs at 9.5kms/ltr. i just want to compare notes lang sana if i have to tune up na or something to prolong my fuel consumption. TIA

Has anyone tried Royal Purple ATF on their rear differentials? Lumabas ba yung grinding sound? Hope to get feedback....

    ^^

i won't recommend it. honda atf z1 only. the 4wd mechanism uses highly proprietary parts and is not identical to regular 4wd diffs and transfer cases...

i used to use only honda atfz1. dati nga kala ko walang fluid yun eh. nalaman ko lang sa hondasuv forum. else magkakameron nung grinding sound when turning (mahal ang bagong 4wd nyan, and i don't think na merong surplus nyan).

i've never had any rt4wd problems in the whole 7 years i owned my crv .

    m/t or a/t? all stock?

my former gen 1 m/t got 10. 11 if i'm lucky. 11-12 sa highway. put oversized all terrain tyres (225/75/15. oem is 205/70. ang bigat ng goma di mo mabuhat sa isang kamay). when i went back to 205/70s (nankang.. bloody good value ) fc went down a bit an the car handled better, ran lighter too. fc on 205s was 11-12...bit more sa highway.

11 on a mostly empty car doing 50kms a day in mild traffic is still a little high, but its the best i can do in the city. i inflate the tyres to 31-31psi, change or clean the air filters in an obsessive compulsive manner, run lighter oil, and basically drove like a grandfather.

Buhayin ko lang itong Gen1 Thread.

Are there any parts that needed to be changed to make our CRVs Euro 4 and higher compatible? Does anyone have any constant power steering issues like leaks kahit original Honda PS na gamit niyo?

    There’s nothing to change.

I just upgraded my sparkplugs to iridiums from Honda Spa

Haven’t heard one installing turbos or supercharger on the b20.

People usually upgrade the heads and box to make it vtec.
