March 3rd, 2010 02:21 PM #24Hello Jun,
You should have cleaned your injectors from the start, ok na yon.
Ideally injectors should be cleaned regularly, using injector cleaner available.
Please check YOUTUBE on hoe its done.
I have mine cleaned using local available fuel injector.
Happy Honda Motoring

March 14th, 2010 07:31 AM #26Misdiagnose, your car was misdiagnose by many auto technicians, sad to say, but that is the reality.
Those things can be eliminated with the proper skill, tools, knowledge and common sense. Most of us jump into the ignition side of the problem. Because the problem was the number 3 sparkplug, with no noticiable loss of power when we do a cylinder balance test. His problem was on the borderline. Borderline problems are hard to detect. But his case is easy to eliminate without any exotic tools or equipment.
I appreciate a fellow tsikoteer who gave tip to exchange the plug #3 to any of the remaining working plugs, just to eliminate the possiblilty. The problem can also be test by exchanging the fuel injector #3 to any of the three injector. Another is that with a lean mixture, the color of #3 plug should be a little whiter than the other, that should be the mechanics some initial clue to the problem. Anyway the problem has been corrected, but the valve leaking idea can be checked using a Leak Down Tester, before the top overhaul was done.
With regards to the high rev idle pas 1K mark, will the servo cleaned and tested, try looking for leaks in the manifold using a vacumm gauge, maybe this may help. before pointing to the other part of the car, the ECU (the expensive).

November 18th, 2010 07:42 PM #29Same Idle problem with mine, pag naka Neutral or Park (engine running), nasa 1.2-1.3krpm. Culprit would be, IACV or servo. I'll buy a surplus from Evangelista na lang. So I had a second opinion from my ECU Technician and chineck nga rin nya yung servo ko, hayun...nakita nya nagsa-suction pa ng konting air (he used his finger to cover the 2 holes inside the throttle body, one at a time...so yung bandang itaas na hole once nakatakip, may umeescape pang air (it is interconnected with servo). While yung isang hole sa bandang ibaba which is interconnected with FITV, pag nakatakip yung hole, no air escapes). Hope this helps. Oh by the way, kung papalinis mo lang din ang servo, FITV..idamay mo na din ang Throttle body.
Try mo din magsearch sa Youtube on how to clean FITV or IACV. Dami mong makikitang technique and tips dun.
Goodluck!!
