How much more predictable could it have been. Just after about a decade and a half since the Koreans started making cars, the Chinese follow suit. Too bad for them, though, not having the sense to keep a clean reputation, they start out by defaming themselves as copyright infringers. This mistake is most likely going to cost them a good deal with their image. A setback like this should probably give other catch-up countries the time to start their own respective car industries. As such, this could be an opportunity for the local corporations (Philippine-owned) to try their hand at building our own automotive mechanicals in 5 years time. Who knows, maybe a merger between PAMCOR and the Ayala Group just might get enough capital to jumpstart a joint venture.

i have seen a lot of look alike in china. they are truly the land of counterfeit. from bags to cars na pala ang ginagaya nila ngayon and they are not ashamed of doing this things. our tour guide even bragged about their skill in copying items like the rolex and fake bags.
