got worried since i got my Honda City just very recently. I asked my SA whether the 09 batch of city is affected. I was told hindi naman daw affected ang local city/jazz. I hope its true. But honestly, it's something that would cross my mind every now and then as i drive my city

Hindi nabasa yung switch ng power windows ng honda city ko. Bigla na lang sya nangamoy while driving along white plains. as in amoy sunog talaga kaya nung nacheck ayun sunog talaga yung switch. this is just a confirmation na talagang affected ang local honda cars ng problem na ito. mahal pa naman ng switch na yun around 5K ata pero hindi naman mahalaga yung money, baka mamaya bigla na lang magliyab yung buong kotse while driving kasama mo family mo. kaya honda sana irecall nyo na yung dapat nyong irecall. =(

Well , ako ang personal opinion ko d2 is gimik ng toyota at honda. Good or bad publicity is maganda in the long run...Yun ngang pepsi kung natatandaan nyo 349 issue, hindi man lang sila nalugi...hehehe thats only my personal opinion po...

Honda claims na hindi affected yung mga units nila dito sa Philippines, I will say NO NO NO to that. Kasi i had an experience kung saan nangamoy sunog dun sa loob ng kotse ko (Honda City) while driving along EDSA. This was last year. I had to stop kasi baka bigla na lang masunog yung buong kotse. i turned off the engine and check everything. Pinahatak ko na lang yung kotse kasi baka mamaya while driving e bigla na lang masunog. Pinacheck ko and the mechanic found out na sunog nga yung window switch sa driver side. Sana maging honest naman ang Honda dahil safety ng tao yung pinag uusapan dito. Yes, definitely malaking loss sa kanila yung pag recall and pag fix ng problem pero sana isipin din nila na safety ng tao yung nakasalalay dun. Kaya Honda, be honest sa mga clients nyo.

bro ngyari lang sakin to kahapon with my honda jazz 2005 from thailand. nangamoy sunog and smoke came from the master window swith. ano po ginawa nyo? alam kong isolated case na ito and sobrang tagal na pero it just happend to me kahapon while driving with my wife and 2 year old son.

Out of warranty na to and since this car is 3rd hand i dont have enough papers to trace it's origin. napapalitan po ba yung part? saan po? is it safe to still use the car? kinalas ko yung switch and i saw a portion of the board was fried. i can post pics if necessary. please help.
