new member here,need opinion,I'm planning to buy a s second honda civic lxi 99 SIR body,all stock .ok lng ba sa 245K price sa second hand ni2?any suggestion kung pano ko cya mapo2rmahan.bago lang kc ako d ko p alm gaano sa mga costumization ng car.

Ok na ok naman po kung ganun ang price ng 99 VTi; others go for 280k to 300k depending on the condition. So at 245k try to check the following common problems associated with this model:

1. Clutch assembly - you may need to change the pressure plate, disc, release bearing, lining which shows significant wear depending on the mileage of the car.

2. Engine Oil Seals - crank case, oil case.

3. Front Axle oil seal - gives off a nasty looking leak from underneath.

4. CV Joint replacement - signs can be in the form of crackling sound at the front end when turning in either directions. A bit expensive to replace.

5. Tie Rack End - loose front wheels. Minor replacement.

6. Check all Fan Belts.

The '99-'00 VTi (SiR) body is one of the best for me for moding the looks because it can be completely converted into the "SiR look" without the SiR cost fuel consumption is also good for the power that it gives.
