To reduce this, I put it in sports mode and then the 7 speed mode then first gear. agad ang acceleration.

I think dapat mong subukan ng Sports mode or the Manual Mode.

I drive a 2005 GD1 Honda Jazz 1.3S with the manual gearbox.

It's actually surprising how this car generates its max torque from very low RPM---this should silence Honda haters that say their engines don't make any torque. As such it's a very good car for twisty roads, matched to a firm stock suspension.

The twin-spark Jazz suffers when going faster than 120 km/h though. Not only does its 82HP become insufficient for very high speeds, it also gets a lot thirstier. For this kind of running the VTEC Jazz will suit you better.

Best fuel economy I got was achieved with a drive from C5 to Baliwag, Bulacan, then back. The Jazz hummed along the NLEX at 100 km/h, overtook a lot of cars going to Baliwag town proper, then overtook more cars on NLEX southbound at 120 km/h.

I made 28.024 km/L!

Hi I just came across this post and wow nakakabilib naman jazz mo imagine 28.024km/l is this really true? or maybe baka 18km/l lang ito. How about some of the honda jazz owners ganito rin ba fuel consumption ng jazz nyo?

It's no joke. I couldn't believe it myself.

Bear in mind that this was an extra-urban highway drive along NLEX going to Baliwag, where there aren't too many hills. In my normal city driving I make 11-13 km/L, which is still pretty decent.

When I drove to Subic in April 2007 I made 17 km/L. That was fully laden and going through a fair number of uphill sections.

I've done 15 km/l, flogging the 1.5 hard in Tagaytay. A former clubmate with the 1.5 did 160 km/h going to BRC, a zillion laps of the BRC, and 140 km/h going back to Manila... he did 14 km/l.

And, on one Eco-run, we did 23 km/l in the 1.3 CVT.

Howcome i don't feel that "shift-jerk" or "kadyot" feeling that most jazz owners talk about after replacing the battery of their CVT jazz?

what would be the equivalent color with dupont or anzhal?
