November 3rd, 2005 11:31 PM #454kaya 7 lang dahil ang routa ko kalayaan, makati ave, ayala, edsa rockel, ayala, pasay road pasong tamo. and all these roads are traffict ave speeds mo 10,20,30, swerte ka na pag 40 kung sunday. gets mo na why 7 lang and ang dami ko pang gamit sa trunk average trunk load ko ay 50kgs + my weight and my passengers. now Im getting 9km/L, with the new fuel. Pag out of town mga 16km/L ako with 4 passengers and trunk load of about 60kgs. very heavy pero matipid pa rin. Depende yan kasi sa load mo and speed. Mas tipid sa gas pag 60-80kph lang na kaka 20kms/L ako out of town going to tagaytay.

Went to the office today and saw a silver Jazz in the parking lot. It was graciously lent to us by Honda for a few days. I drove it home at almost 9 PM. In absolutely sucky traffic. Argh.
My first thought about the Jazz was that it was tiny.
My second thought was that from the driver's seat, the dashboard seemed huge and that I absolutely couldn't see the corners of the car.
My third thought was that the radio didn't seem to have a power button.
My fourth thought was that it felt cheap and tinny, especially when I first started the engine.
My fifth thought was that the steering didn't feel connected to the wheels.
My sixth thought was that I was hungry.
My seventh thought was that I should be more optimistic.
So I stopped thinking.
Anyway, the drivetrain of this puppy is superb. 1.3 liters with all of 81 hp, but it moves smartly and the CVT is very, very good. The interior is astoundingly roomy too particularly given the shoebox dimensions.
Stay tuned for updates on this road test diary thread in the next few days...

two hours of hard mountain driving resulted in a mileage figure of 17.54 kilometers per liter. Holy cow.
