To give an idea, my usual “long” ride route is along Aguinaldo hiway in cavite, cavitex, coastal road, naiax (towards usually makati or bgc)

9.2 km/L now after 1.7km mileage. Pretty much same routes.

Same lang routes bosing. Siguro incrementally improved driving habits lang (i used to not “plan” my acceleration Honda Fuel Consumption Database)

No really long drives yet. I believe i can still reach 10-11 km/L after a year of use perhaps (about 10 months from now).

Looking closer at the city driving FC alone:

    - Every 1 kph increase during heavy traffic (under 15 kph) has a very sharp improvement in FC
    - In moderate traffic (16-20 kph), FC is roughly the same
    - Steep linear increase again in FC as avg speed increases in light traffic

Data was from 66 full tanks from a total of over 24,000 km travelled.

Jut, what app did you use to track your speed x FC? I'm very technical when it comes to things and i want a record of everything kasi.

does the ECON actually modify the engine system? or is it just a light that guides the driver on how to stay within the "most efficient" way to drive ?

According to Honda, ECON Button works by changing how your throttle response, cruise control, air condition and transmission works.

From experience, may subtle changes when the ECON is off. I feel a faster response when stepping on the accelerator and mas malakas aircon.

    Para di OT:
