    in my old sentra, it took me over 10K km, for that km/li figure to go up from 6-7, to 10.
    i was also dis-heartened at first, thinking i had gotten a lemon.
    Thank you for sharing your experience. Medyo kampante na ko na mag-iimprove pa to.

    walang sekreto.
    suwabe driving habits lang.
    wag makipag-karera.
    no warming-up prior to driving. just drive away, po.
    wag or bawasan mag-aircon. lumalakas konsumo pag may aircon.
    iwanan ang kotse sa bahay kung maaari. lakarin o mamasahe kung puede.

    google for gas-saving tips, po.

    Fuel consumption this week. gas up last Tuesday full tank automatic. then after a week, full tank again.

    Distance travelled - 254.3 Kms
    Fuel - 20.14 Liters
    FC = 12.63

    Daily route:
    Morning - Antipolo -> Ortigas Ext -> C5 -> Makati (Light traffic)

    Car is Honda City 2015 and fuel is Seaoil 97 Octane.

    Hello,

    Hope you and your families are healthy and well.

    How's the fuel consumption of your 2016/2017 CR-V, 2.4L (gas)?

    I just learned that higher displacement doesn't always mean higher fuel consumption...
    There are many contributing factors such as power to weight ratio, overall engine condition, tire inflation, etc. I've learned that in some cases, due to the car's weight, 2.0L CR-V consumes more fuel compared to it's 2.4L big brother. I just want to verify if this is true?

    feel free to correct me
    I'm very open to learn something new

    Cheers, Fam!

    A CRV 2.0L FWD will have around the same fuel consumption as a CRV 2.4L AWD. The AWD model is heavier than the lower trim 2.0L FWD model.

    If you want to save a bit on fuel expense, you can opt for the newer CRV diesel models.
