ya speaking of pinoy mentality,

i have a friend who was given a company car --- a Vios

he told me meron daw nagcomment...

"Manager ka pero Vios lang kotse mo?"

Yung nag-comment is just your regular dumb-assed idiot, who I believe does not even have a car or has not received a car from his company (if he's even working at all). Typical pinoy. Now that's a saddening fact.

Saw a Honda ES (twice, different plate #) along buendia that has rizal yellow plates. Parang hotel taxi sya. Sorry but, I have no time to capture it on my cellphone. :|

Hotel taxi yan sir. If it has Rizal plates, hotel taxi /car rental yan; regular yellow plates, regular taxi.

lahat ng sedans regardless of make will have problems in suspension if we are talking about Philippine roads. the only reason why matunog ang Toyota is bec. napakamura ng replacement parts.

it also explains na kumbakit nagreklamo ang mga car parts dealer sa north expressway area. ever since daw nagawa ang NLEX, humina ang benta nila sa replacement parts pang-ilalim.

now I have a Honda CRV which is almost 10 years old and I had a 4x4 Mitsu strada na 7 years old. My mitsu wore out sa suspension first at malaki ang pagawain so i decided to sell. it's newer than my crv and it has less mileage than my crv.

pero itong crv ko, hanggang walang pa din pinapalitan na major sa suspension.

we also had a civic esi and a corolla gli, both encountered problems in suspension exactly after reaching 3 years of use. so to say that Honda has weaker suspension is unfounded.

There's no such thing as a contract preventing someone converting their Honda's into TAXI's (even the old ones). But the above would LOGICALLY explain everything.

Sus mga kuya... ordinary econobox lng ang civic po just like corolla, sentra and mazda3. Dito lang sa atin nag papaka o.a tyo coz di ginagawang taxi dito c honda...

Ano naman yang "Prestigious" ek ek ng Honda? Di nga pwede gawing taxi ang mga sasakyan nila pero gumawa naman sila ng AUV.(remember the 2002 CRV?) Eh diba hindi naman "prestigious" ang AUV?

Practical lang gawing taxi ang Vios or Altis or even the Avanza dahil marami parts ang toyota at mura pa compared sa Honda, di ba?

Matibay? sus....hindi ba kayo sumasakay sa taxi? e barumbado mga taxi driver (maybe out of need). add to that sobrang pangit mga kalsada dito. It wont take long before a supposed matibay na car (toyota man or whatever) e kalampag-wasak agad.

Kung walang issue ang pagiging taxi ang kotse ninyo, di you wouldnt be venting here. Plus you wont mind hearing and seeing...."mama taxi...taxi po...." or "pulis...pulis...."

Walang taxi na Honda dito sa Pilipinas. As for prestige, Honda did not become the top car maker (Consumer Report 2009 hanapin mo sa web) by chance or magic votes. Rank 2 is Subaru. And trailing at 3 is Toyota. It's a consumer based report so it says a lot.

Although a lot of hopefuls wish me Honda taxi dito sa Pilipinas. Dream on.
