Well if you are into looks, yep, next year may bagong model na siguro ang CRV. Haven't seen spy pics yet though. Although yun facelift nila for 2010 added a lot of features (and removed the issue with the suspension), ok rin naman sya.
Tucson bagong bago talaga, but lots of minor issues pa sya. I suggest you wait a while na lang.

Yung minor issues ng Tucson ay matatapos din
Ang problem lang po kasi masyado in-demand yung car ngayon kaya minsan may "Fail" sa unit.

bro, its best pa rin to have it checked by your trusted mechanic, or a honda V enthusiast na kakilala.
re FC, depends pa rin yan sa overall condition nun oto. but most likely, best shot mo na nyan is 8 km/l (mixed city/hway). meron pa mga Gen2 na 6 km/l lang.
over-all, if fuel economy is not your top concern, and your heart truly desires this car, then go for it once ma-confirm na mint condition pa siya.
i remember nga, when i got my Gen1, "me against the world" ang laban noon, kung bakit ko daw binili. sabi ko, "bakit, kayo ba bibili pang-gas ko?"
iba kasi talaga satisfaction if ure driving a V. besides, having my 8-9 km/l FC masaya na ako, tsaka di naman daily driven.
wait for a technical perspective advise from other tsikoteers though...
screw it back on and use the car again. observe very closely for signs that were not there before....
