Just back from a tire dealer along Mindanao Ave this PM.They don't have the specs above-the only one they got is almost the same size as the OEM tyre of CRV - 205/65R15 -Goodyear Eagle NCT 5 - PhP 2,240 each.Tingin ako sa Banawe baka merong 215/70R15 dun.

There are two big tire shops in Banawe. If you still have an option, try visiting Tomas Mapua St. in Blumentrit area. OR Evangelista St. in Makati. :D

shintaro,
I'm a Gen1 owner myself ...tama si Ungas 215/70-15 yun ang tamang size for the CR-V.
yung 205/65-15 kase medyo maliit. Mas ok yung 215/70-15 minimal lang yung laki nya and definitely wider than the stock 205/70-15
I'm currently using 205/70-15 Yokohama super digger AT tires. sayang nga lang nalaman ko lang sa Hondasuv na pwede pala 215/70-15 na size di gaano affected yung speedometer.
for a slightly bigger size I've seen a Gen1 CR-V with 215/75-15 BFG A/T tires. maganda feedback ng BFG tires based from the posts i've read from the tsikoteers. sana yun na lang binili ko.
You may also want to check out the Yokohama Geolandar in 225/70-15 just like the tires in this Gen2 CR-V:

Yun nga lang mahal daw yung Geolandar.
Do you really want AT tires? kung gusto mo H/T tires The Dunlop RV501 tires with street tread pattern is ok. tahimik sya tapos kahit 205/70-15 yung size nya mas malapad pa din compared to other 205/70-15 tires. iba yata yung sukat ng Dunlop na yun.

Supierreman::: I got those tire size notes from you, hehehe. :D
Do you have any news kung kamusta yung ride ng 225/70 on Gen II CRV? Any fender scraping lately?

Uy nabuhay CR-V thread namerge dito topic ni shintaro ayus! thanks mod Ungas for upping the thread di ko na mahanap natabunan na noon hehe :D
Ungas,
ah ganun ba hehe. :D sayang talaga I should have gotten 215/70-15 tires. mukhang matagal tagal pa bago palitan tong 205/70 ko. kapal pa ng tread mukhang matagal mapudpod hehe.
Vexel9 posted in HCP sabi nya for the Gen2 CR-V wala rubbing so far. Even the rear mounted tire hindi sumasabit yung rear hatch glass. I'm not sure about the Gen1 though pero mukhang hindi rin sasabit yun.
Ganda tread pattern nung Geolandar AT sobra mahal nga lang saka hirap maghanap.

There is no rubbing with 225/70 on the stock rims at all. As a matter of fact, the Geo AT 225/70-15 is wider than regular all-season 225/70-15. I know it shouldn't but it is very slightly wider. IMO 225/70-15 is the perfect size. There's no BIG gap that the stock tires leave. In terms of performance i am absolutely satisfied especially driving on wet roads.

According to Supierreman the top 2 AT tires aren't even available in the Philippines so....
The only problem is, as Sups said, they are a little expensive but absolutely worth it IMO.
