Ganda yan a! Just bring a good mechanic with you, it always helps to have someone look objectively, kasi pag type mo car marami kang na-ooverlook it can cloud your better judgement. Chances are if it's an Sir medyo na abuso na makina nyan so be wary.
Katukin mo rin lightly yung kaha, it'll make a non metal thug if heavily filled yung body.
Test drive bro.

Aahh, SiR. Ayos yan bro, but you gotta be wise man, you could get a more practical, bigger car for the same price. But if you would like to race, or if balak mo mag mod, e ayus na ayus yun!

This car has been repainted. How do I know?
1. SiR's in 1999 only came in 3 colors. Nighthawk Black, Passion Orange, and Championship White. In 2000 they introduced Sunburst Yellow and Formula Red.
2. Check out the rear doors. There are no DOHC VTEC stickers.
Tip: check out HCP's selling section. They have a 2000 SiR selling for 410k, all stock (except for the air filters), factory paint. The seller is even a bonafide member. Only thing is, it's Passion Orange.

Yung makina ang nagpamahal sa SiR. Kasunod yung disc brakes. Tapos halos kumpleto na sa sway bars. Mas maganda pa mags nya, 15" na Enkei ang orig. In short, semi-rezing na stock pa lang.
Ang surplus na B16a na makina naglalaro sa 60-80k ang presyo. Ang B16b nasa 140k, ang B18c type R nasa 170k. Pwede mo pagpalit-palitin mga pyesa lahat ng B-series engines para lalong lumakas. Yan ang isa pang nagpamahal, medyo matulin na nga, mataas pa potential para mas bumilis. Marami pang pyesa na available, pampabilis man o hindi (oem or aftermarket).
Kaya nagtatagal sa mga 2nd hand dealers kasi nga mahal sya for a 6-7 yr old car. As for me, I love mine hehehe

Mekaniko ng dad ko sabi daw ok yung B16 head on B18 block.
Pero dad ko B16 all motor and Crower Stage 2 camshafts, Titanium double valve springs, chaka Arias pistons na domed. Yung head ginawang Type R tapos AEM adjustable cam gears pa. Kaya pag Sabado nandun siya kina Morris sa Novaliches, nagpapatono minsan.

By the way, may difference ba sa suspension ng SiR sa VTi other than brakes and sway bars?
I don't have proof but it seems like the CRV shrank from the previous generation.
