430K for a '99 model, tapos sa used car dealer pa? hmmmm...u really have to check, lalo na ang mileage, service records kung meron, kung original paint ba yan. rare nga yong formula(?) red & sunburst yellow, kaya lang minsan may mga nagpapa-change color din.

i suggest not to rush, check out hcp website, marami din nagpo-post ng for sale dun na SIR. karamihan direct sa owner, or personally known nila ang owner. for 430K, you can probably get a better deal kung sinuwerte ka.

Alam ko SOHC lang ang Vti di ba?
Compared sa SIR na DOHC B16.
Nalilito pa nga ako sa engine codes niyan eh pero sa SIR hindi.
Hindi ko kase malaman kung anong engine code ng Vti at Lxi eh.
PH16 ba or D16?

SIR ka na lang tapos gawin mong JDM set up..hehe.Then sali ka sa club ko..

common problem na ng mga EK civics ang power door locks...actuator ang bumibigay...may kamahalan ang OEM nito sa driver's door...nasa 5k sa casa...meron namang nabibiling murang replacement actuator sa labas....power windows, bumabagal na rin ang pagbukas habang tumatagal...

ang hirap lang kasi sa used car dealer eh "nahaplusan" na ang mga kotse...inayos nang mabuti at pinaganda na ang mga iyan para di mo makita ang mga external defects....

tulad ng payo ni swordsman hanap ka muna ng units mula sa first owners...piliin mo yung stock lang....

-always check the defogger kung gumagana...
-check mo underside ng hood kung may sticker na...kadalasan sa mga nabangga wala na ito...

Paki double check nalang if orig paint pa ba yun. AFAIK yung red and sunburst yellow colors 2000 models lang meron yan. parang last batch ng mga SiR lang with those colors. Common problem talaga yung lock civic. Madali lang naman palitan actuators.

PH yung code kasi locally assembled na yung engine. sa ibang countries, D16 talaga yan IIRC.

mike_vb11-- baka hindi na magdna ang SIR na yun.. and kadalasan nagamit na sa pang racing kc.. minsan ka lng makakita ng SiR hindi ginamit sa ganyan and for daily use lng ng owner... baka it was modified for racing na and nabangga or wat or pangit na ang loob...

RE: Why SiR's sit so long on dealer's lots. Because of the price. Most people aren't willing to pay so much for an old four door with no ABS and airbags. Also, it's not really an economy car, thus, budget buyers aren't likely to pick it over a 2001 or 2002 VTi or Altis, either of which they can get for the same money.

I like the car, but then, if I were to buy a back-up vehicle, it probably wouldn't be on the top of my list either.

Ah, to be twenty again... and richer.

mbeige,mamar,swordsman,chiefy&2slow,, kung may alam kayong frends na may binebentang honda civic 99/00 models, color preferably F-red,(condition is similar OR Better than sa pics)..PLEASE! PLEASE! PLEASE! post po,am badly in nead of a car,,
