Honda Civic LXI 98 temperature problem

Patulong naman po.
I was driving in NLEX yesterday, i observed that when my speed was up to 80kph, normal ang temperature gauge almost half lang. Pero pag 100kph tumataas ang temperature almost or more than 3/4's sa gauge. Nung nag exit na ako and continue my city driving, normal lang ang temp. Ano kaya ang pede kong patignan sa mekaniko?

Check thermostat and auxiliary fan, these are the most likely culprit.

Check your Thermostat and water pump. Both or either might be defective or inefficient already.

Thanks po sa mga reply and advises. Yung auxiliary fan ay gumagana eh. Pa check ko po siguro sa mechanic.
