I like the EK civic hatch more than EG. but the problem is, these kind wasn't a local version since honda didn't release these kind of civics. pero I think my frustration in civic will end up soon. I'll try my best to acquire the EP or FD models. iniisip ko rin kasi noong high school na pag naka civic ka COOL ride na. and yes it is! very powerful and stable kind of vehicle. pero we used to own a ESi and VTi civic few years back. hindi ko kasi naabutan na may bulutong and ESi at Malakas pala sa Gas ang A/T na Vti
hindi ko rin po alam bakit obsessed ako sa CIVIC.

*issa1023. what is the difference of LXi and VTi. aside from the engines.

AFAIK. wlang VTEC ang LXi. pero D15 like the ESi. while VTi's VTEC opens at a low rpm

October 12th, 2010 08:18 PM #38Ang purpose lang naman ng VTEC-E ay gawing "12-valve mode" yung makina pag naka-idle at hanggang mga 1500 rpm (yata, nakalimutan ko na exactly eh haha).
Any savings from idling may be negated once you start rolling, since I think 1990s 4-speed matic trannies require more press to roll (that coming from a manual tranny user, so maybe it's just me), and that goes true for the entire rpm range (based on 1990s and newer AT cars I've driven).

typo siguro. i noticed yung rims ng VTi kamukha nung rims ng MB C220.
IIRC they're with AVID. The reported numbers in the TG article are from CAMPI.
