June 18th, 2012 12:42 AM #1Question naman po wala po akong masyadong alam sa sasakyan. I just came back to Manila and tried to start my Honda Civic 2010. Kaso ngayon ayaw nya ng mag start after 3 months kong hindi nagamit. May gas pa naman sya. Im not sure if its the battery. Paano po kaya yung ganito? Better get a car mechanic to fix it? Thanks

most probably its the battery... if you have an extra car, have your battery (from the civic) removed and bring it to a battery shop... most shops do have battery testers to see if its discharged or something else... they can recharge the battery for you kaya lang medyo matagal. kung instant solution, motolite express delivery

Does the engine crank ( redondo )? If it does then try to restart the engine again, wait for at least 10 to 15 seconds interval before retrying to crank up the engine again, mine does this if not used for 4 days, normal for a car that has not been started for a long time. If it's totally dead ( walang redondo ) then try jump starting if manual, series if it's a matic. hth.

The gasoline may have also become stale. E10 gasoline only lasts 90-100 days under ideal conditions (Gasoline Expiration - Ethanol Blend Fuels Have a Short Shelf Life).
