    Hi Guys,

Just want to get your expert advise regarding my 40k PMS.

I was given a quote of P15,300 for the 40k maintenance. Includes all filter replacements, Fully synthetic oil, ATF, labor and fuel filter recliner set which is the most expensive.

My question is what is the risk of not replacing the Fuel recliner set? Will it affect the performance of the car? and when shoul i really replace this part?

Is it ok not to replace this yet and do it months later?

Im sorry guys since this is my 1st car and i really dont know much about this area.

Hope you can help me and suggest what i can do in this situation.

More power to tsikot. Have a nice day. Godbless

is it still under warranty? if yes, you have to follow that Para hindi mavoid. If wala na warranty, pwede hindi palitan kung hindi sira.

Yes sir still under warranty. Though i talked to Honda and asked if it is ok not to replace the part yet. They agreed but my concern is will it affect the performance of the car and will it create a bigger problem if not replaced now?

    Thanks Sir Archie. God bless.

I have no idea what a fuel recliner set is pero if that's the same as standard fuel filter, yes its a practice na every 40k kms change filter. In my opinion, ill change the fuel filter to play safe na hindi magkaproblem injector and fuel rail.

Too early to change the fuel filter. Do you really need full synthetic oil? Your car is still young and it's not even a sports car. Unless you can fairly define extreme driving for your car.

I will suggest read the service manual for your guidance.

up for the thread. ang nakakainis sa casa hindi nila sinusunod yung age ng oto. if you guys will notice yung maintenance schedule masyado malaki yung mileage na nakalagay sa ilalim nung age ng oto. yung casa ibe-base yung quotation sa mileage na nakalagay sa booklet. for example sa booklet hindi naman nakalagay na required na magpalit ng fuel filter, pero since ang nakalagay na mileage below nung 2yrs is 40K (if im not mistaken) ang sasabihin ng casa "sir ito po yung gagawin natin sa 40K maintenance". eh nakalagay naman na malinaw sa booklet na kung which ever comes first. meaning kung wala pang 2yrs oto mo pero naka 40K ka na, dun ka dapat magpalit ng fuel filter. eto pa ginawa sakin ng honda rizal, siningil pa rin ako ng labor para sa pag replace ng fuel filter kahit di ko pinapalitan fuel filter ko, sabi sakin kung within 2 mos daw ako magpapalit ng fuel filter di na ko sisingilin sa labor.

pwede naman hindi palitan. The thing is sa fuel filter, you'll never know when it needs replacing. 40k talaga standard palitan, pwede kasi pumalya yung engine kung makakalusot na dirt and specs sa filter or run lean dahil konting gas na lang ang nakakadaan, injector na tatamaan.

mas mahal singil sa labor ng Palinis or replace, Kaya ill do it every 40k. even if you have the cleanest gas, there are still impurities in the tank.

yes sir ako rin naman kung nasa 40K na mileage ko eh magpapapalit na rin ako ng fuel filter. kaya lang sa case ko nung nagpa service ako on my 2nd year, gusto na palitan ng honda cars rizal yung fuel filter ko kahit nasa 28K pa lang mileage nung time na yun.
