    so the front bumber and rear plate garnish are not actually an indicators whether it's a sx8 or type zmodel?

    I also own a 2002 Honda City Type Z car Hyper-16 Valve
    I believe the Type Z logo was just detached. It is just made of an embossed like plastic sticker and not made of metal.
    Mine too nearly detaches when I bought it last 2008. Just fastened it more firmly.

    AFAIK, only way you can tell is by checking your engine. VTi means you got a vtec engine. plus, VTEC stickers on bottom rear doors. some just stick the emblem on non-vtec engines or Hyper 16 lang. pang porma kumbaga.
