How so, If I might ask? Aren't they built on the same platform? but this time they don't share exterior parts, like before.

Just because two cars are built on the same platform doesn't automatically make them identical beasts. There's a lot of leeway for tuning.

Only a test-drive of the GE6 Jazz and GM1 City will let you realize how fidgety the Jazz's ride still is. Improved ride? I'm surprised how similarly my GD1 Jazz on 16" wheels rides to the 15"-equipped GE6. There's a difference between old and new, but the GE6 Jazz just can't hide its small-car feel as well as the GM1 City.
