Nagpa10000Km checkup ako sa honda pasig this week. When i picked up the car, walang bawas ang gas tank pati ang mileage. mabait pa ang nag-accommodate sakin.

I don't think na magnanakaw sila dun, i think in the first place ayoko mag-iwan dun ng kahit anong valuables, even if no such "pagnanakaw" happened in the past.

i think you didn't get the point. You are in the Philippines! If you leave something in your car and you have no document to prove it is there, it is more likely to be stolen. Im saying not all casa have the case but it is the reality. That is the reason why other casa istall CCTV to record all staff movement and also to prevent technicians to steal good parts for customers cars. It is quite common, that technicians offer cheaper original parts, which they in turn get from other cars being service.

Parallel point: If you send for example a camera, or a cell phone in AIR21, LBC, or 2GO nag you declared it personal item only and declares it worth 100pesos, it is more likely to be stolen, and they will pay you 100pesos, right away with a smiling face!

Im a filipino, by blood and by ways. It is shameful to think that every single day, cars in casa's are being stolen from, either by parts or by contents. But that is the reality.
Though most of these cases are not reported, it is that the owners of these cars dont mind, because they are filthy rich and they have their own drivers bring the cars to be service in the casa. What is a few thousand buck for a brake master cylinder, or a fuel pump anyways when they are earning 5 to 10millions from gov projects.

This case of yours is an example, on how to act and be cautious when you're in a casa. Even if its only a few hours, if there a chance for contents to be stolen, chances are, it will be.

So next time, keep you car in sight as much as possible, lock all things in you glove box, and leave only the VALET key.

Please don't blame Honda, because in my opinion they don't care. As far as they think, you are in the Philippines, and you should be aware of what's going for so many years now. Assume anything can be stolen, anytime, anywhere.

    Happy driving pipol!!!!
i would agree with you with the reality point. but my friend, if we are going to accept this reality, we should be thinking of leaving our country and change nationality fast.

it maybe the reality but i would expect more from honda as a company. more so with ayala owned casas, being well respected businessmen.

its easy to say that reality is sad. but it would be much better to hear that a company is striving to make a difference.

    * sir ejay

    drive safely!...God bless!!...

This thread has confirmed what I've been thinking for years, Cause everytime I leave my car to casa, I always take all valuables out first, including the subwoofer box and the amplifiers, I've always been cautious about my things being stolen from my car , when someone is working on it.

Let's face it , We're in the Philippines, And Come to think of it, Yun mga nag aayos ng kotse natin , ehh pulubi lang sila, and if you add to that na medyo kulang ang kanilang education with poor upbringing at syiempre palaging gipit sa pera, malamang na madali lang sila mahulog sa temptation.

Even amongst Us, We also fall into temptation in a different way. Imagine if a hot Chic is tempting you , Are you 100% sure that you wont fall into that temptation, Nagkataon lang na iba yung temptation sa nagnakaw ng perfume mo, Pero , magnanakaw parin ang tawag sa kanya , nonetheless.

I think that the management of that Honda branch is accountable for your loss , They should be more strict in implimenting security measures to minimize and eliminate cases like yours. THey should follow the example of Toyota cars in Cagayan de oro city, Cause everytime I leave my car there, They always have checklist , Plus! they take many pictures on various parts of the car, inside and out, Now that's good service. And that is why Toyota CDO have plenty of awards.

Anyway I'm glad that you were partially compensated by Honda, partially, cause I dont think they can compensate for the time you lost and the aggrivation you've suffered.

I would advice na kung sino man yun nagnakaw, Forgive them nalang, Diyos na ang bahala sa kanila, Kasi makatarungan ang Diyos, Kahit hindi halata.

BTW, I dont have any affiliation with anything to do with toyota, In fact my less than a week old car is a new Honda Civic 1.8S automatic. At ganito rin sana ang Honda, Cause I'll be seeing Honda more in the future for the service of my new car.

Anyway, the car was picked up by Tuesday. When we inspected the car at the house, I noticed that the windshield had no tint at all. So I informed the sales agent and she told me to bring the car on Saturday.

Last Saturday, I went back to have the car tinted. The one who received the car was the sales agent and not the service since it was not a service issue but a dispatch issue. She asked me if there were any valuables inside the car. I told her that there is a perfume (still new with box minus a few sprays) in the center console. She told me that it was okay and I also thought it was since my other car is being serviced with those honda cars pasig
Anyway, after 2 hours of waiting, the car was finished. The sales agent gave the car to me and went off. But, just leaving the exit of Honda, I checked the console for the perfume. It's gone!

I parked immediately and went back again and inform the sales agent about what happened. She immediately went in and asked around. The guys who installed the tint confirmed that there was indeed a perfume in the console. But at the wash bay, the guys there said there wasn't.

Maybe it was stupid of me not to get a receiving form from them. But, it's also their job to issue it when they receive a vehicle. Also, someone inside confirmed that there was indeed a perfume inside the car. Now, its nowhere to be found.

It's just so frustrating that we buy a new car, it's always assumed that we also bought some amount of trustworthiness from their end. The perfume is not really a big deal, it's valuable to me since it was a present from my wife last holiday. Also, if you can't trust them on this, how can you trust them in more bigger issues like warranties and repairs?!

I'm filling a formal complaint today because of what happened. I was looking for a manager or somebody who has an authority or power to do something last Saturday but everybody was out.

In my experience, I can say that Honda Cars Pasig (along Libis), Magnanakaw!
ha!ha!ha! tama ka dyan bro. maraming magnanakaw dyan s honda cars pasig pero kung alam mo ang kasabihan n ang magnanakaw e galit sa kapwa magnanakaw. he!he!he! peace!!!!!

I think the general rule is to not leave any valuables in the car, especially if left personally unattended.

But if you do and you make an issue out of it, then the fault is with you. You should have taken the necessary precautions to prevent this from happening.

The world we live in nowadays.... people find it hard to trust their own family members, let alone complete strangers.
