The new Honda BR-V is launching later this month

    Gen 2?

Changes to the Indonesian-spec BR-V (pictured above) include a redesigned fascia up front, a new grille, and an updated bumper, as well as revised LED daytime running lights. The 16-inch alloys have also been replaced.

The interior, meanwhile, boasts a larger eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system and some additional leather bits wrapped around a few components. Underneath the hood is the familiar 1.5-liter i-VTEC with 118hp and 145Nm, paired to either a six-speed manual or a CVT.

Of course, all of that is for our neighbors in Indonesia. No word yet on what exactly we’ll be getting here in the Philippines, but we’re guessing it won’t be too far off from what’s mentioned above.

If I may ask, is the BR-V considered as SUV? I think I saw a sticker saying it is a 7 seater SUV or something.

i confess, i do not know.
    but...
choose your vehicle, based on what you want and what it can do.
don't care too much about how the vehicle is labeled by the seller. them's only for marketing (selling!) purposes.

personally, i find it masikip for obese big me. i wouldn't buy it, whatever car category they advertise it to be.

Bro, naniniwala ka sa marketing ng Honda? Honda can call it an SUV but we all know it’s an MPV like the Mobilio and Avanza.

Yes, I find it "too small" to be called an SUV.

That's it! I couldn't think of the right word. And that settles it for me, MPV.

How about a subcompact SUV? Is there such a thing?

I'm easily convinced with the sticker. [emoji3]
