Help Whistling sound when accelarating

Nagpachange oil ako nung isang araw sa shell semi synthetic yung helix hx7 medyo kapos kasi sa budget sinabag na din ng mekaniko yung paglilinis ng airfilter binugahan nya ng hangin para maalis yung mga carbon deposits or whatever na tawag dun. So after matapos. Road test then we stop at puregold to have some groceries. Then pagstart ng engine at habang nag accelerate may whistling sound ako nadidinig medyo weird. Pinop up ko yung hood check the belt habang may nakaapak sa gas. Normal nman has anyone experience this advice naman po btw my ride jazz a/t 2006 ivtec. Tnx and more power tsikoters...

Try changing the air filter. Mura lang naman yun. Kung marumi na yung air filter, just change it and don't bother trying to clean it with compressed air unless your air filter is one of those K&N or Simota models that can be cleaned. It would be good to change air filters every 10k km.

Kung andyan pa rin yung tunog after changing the air filter, then get a good mechanic to help you diagnose that throttle issue.

Yung aftermarket replacement air filters mga 300 lang ata yun. Bumili ako air filter for a Jazz 2009 i-vtec, 300 lang bayad ko.

Baka hindi lang nasikipan yung air filter cover or pwede rin malaki na butas ng filter. Try removing it and start the car, kung Nawala, bili na bago air filter. Kung meron pa rin mix water and soap and find the leak. Pwede sa throttle body gasket, tubes ng intake, or sa cover mismo. Basta check lahat ng ng pwede daanan ng hangin.

Disconnect mo i battery to reset ECU baka sobrang dumi na talaga ng air filter mo, then nun nilinis masyado na malakas pumasok hangin kaya may whistling sound.

Hinde pa naka adjust ECU.

Meron steps kung paano, meron pa idle ng 10 minutes hanapin mo na lang sa Internet but IMO disconnecting battery will suffice.

Check mo gulong mo baka may pako. Yung whistling sound singaw pala ng hangin. He,he.

If the air filter is not the culprit, try checking the pipe line of your exhaust system. Baka may butas sa ibang part kaya nagccreate ng whistling sound.
Another possible reason is loose bearings. Usually akala mo sa umpisa whistling sound lang pero pag tumagal at lumala na problema, parang bakal na kinikiskis na ang tunog. Usually nasisira bearing ng alternator or compressor lalo na pag nailusong sa baha.

Encountered the whistling sound during acceleration sa old corolla namin. The fan under the dashboard was the culprit in our case.
