OK Hold your horses..... I am not promoting Rapide... it was only suggested for those who are not mechanically inclilned in the event of an emergency, it can be any other reputable shop. (My friend had his car tuned up from Rapide' after I tuned it up my way.... it went from better to worse... :-0)

I myself has never set-foot in any Rapide' center... I made a vow to myself, kahit anong mangyari, I will not leave my car on the road... Dapat pag alis ko, babalik din ako before the sun rises with my car... kahit hilahin or itulak ko pa ito.

Since I prefer not to do the latter... I make it a point to know my car better...

Meaning... I fix everything myself - if I have the right tools and time.

Since I am a DIYer, I am also suggesting people to DIY themselves... not only does it enrich your knowledge.... but it is really a self fulfilling thing to do.

Moreover... if you have ever done it yourself, di na kayo maloloko ng lokong siraniko.

    Some wisdom to share:

    1. Why entrust your car to the hands of someone who doesn't even have a car? Gano kadaming tao sa atin masyadong tiwala sa mekaniko nila na wala namang alam masyado sa pagiging car owner?... I cannot count the times when I had the car touched by mechanics... only to be fixed later on by myself. Hirap makahanap ng matinong mekaniko nowadays.... normally, nag aabroad... or hired already by the schools they studied from. Kaya naiwan puro latak - hindi ko naman nilalahat. But I am sure... marami niyan sa tabi tabi. :-)

Thanks for sharing this problem... now we can conclude that new cars are too sensitive... they are designed to stop or stall in the event of the smallest problem that occurs. Each part are designed to last for only a few thousand kilometers. After which - you really need to buy or replace them all.

The reason, so that their dealers' After Sales and Service department will have repeat business... otherwise - they will have no business at all and cannot generate employment.

At the end of the day... alls well that ends well...

Onga ano. Napaisip ako dito. Ganun ba kalakas ang discharge nung short para ubusin niya yung ikinakarga ng alternator?

    Definitely yes.

Shorted circuit is like a leak in your gas tank.
