Just follow what the manual says.
Civic's are much more forgiving:
Towing If due to damage, the vehicle must be towed with the front wheels on the ground, do the following:
Manual Transmission
- Release the parking brake.
- Shift the transmission in neutral.
Automatic Transmission
- Release the parking brake.
- Start the engine.
- Shift to the D position, then to the N position.
- Turn off the engine.
It is best to tow the vehicle no farther than 80 km (50 miles), and keep the speed below 55 km/h (35 mph).

April 2nd, 2010 01:53 AM #13its ok to tow at A/T vehicle if the engine is running...if not better to lift the wheels where the transmission is connected..
limit speed is for "safety" you wouldn't want to tow a vehicle at 100kph
