Help on buying the Civic FD

4 disc brakes na din po ang V. Basta on the mechanical side pareho lang yung V and S, ang differences talaga nila is mostly cosmetic lang and the airbags.

Wala kase sa 2.0S M/T (discontinued model) lang nila nilabas yang kulay na yan.

But if you were to choose again...which is better? the 1.8V or 1.8S?...at bakit po sir?

Of course 1.8S is better overall no question about that. Pero back kasi in 2007 model the 1.8V was priced at P817,000 and the 1.8S was priced at P888,000 both for the AT. At that time kasi malaki price gap nilang dalawa eh para sakin airbags over-rated naman in Metro Manila (wag na kayo makipag argue sakin why I think airbags are over rated) and mas napusuan ko yung grey interiors nang 1.8V so yun na lang kinuha ko...

Yup...over rated nga ang airbags

....thanks sir...pero ngayon I think the price difference is about 50K.....(?)

Meron pa rin po ba quality issues ang 2008 FDs? Dami ko kasi nabasa dito sa forum na problems ng Civic FDs from power windows to engine mounts, paints, etc. Baket ang dami ata problems? Very uncharacteristic naman ata from Honda.
