Help Buying 2nd hand Civic VTI 96 -97

Im planning to buy 2nd hand car, honda civic vti 97 napupusuan ko and my budget is 200-250k. wala po kong alam sa car. tanong ko lang kung ano pinagkaiba ng es & ek? nababasa ko lang kasi mga yun and i dont have any idea.

ano ang dapat i-consider when buying 2nd hand vti 97 or you guys can also recommend other car brands (lancer, toyota, nissan etc. ). Thanks in advance.

the ek, es, eg, fd are chassis codes for each generation of civics

eg - 93-95 model
ek - 96-2000 model
es - 2001 - 2005 model
fd - 2006 - present model

regarding sa pagtingin ng 2nd hand, its the same as any other cars, look for signs na hindi alaga yung oto, leaks, vibration, interior condition. with the ek meron rust issues lalo sa roof, look for bubble marks that indicate rusting.

Saka madalas sira ang aircon nyan and hindi maganda radiator kasi plastic...

May kalakasan yan sa gasolina.

If I may suggest, best to get an ES body to guarantee you of not having E10 issues.

My Ek doesn't have e10 issues.. pero mas Ok yung es.. kasi mas modelo.. and since wala ka Idea sa Kotse mas modelo mas maganda.. try to bring someone who really knows car hindi yung mga know it all... hehehe.. if you know what I mean...
