Hard to shift gear

mga ka-tsikot, normal po ba sa civic ESI or my problem na pag kaka-start ko lang ng engine ang hirap mag-shift gear lalo na pag-reverse. halos hindi matinag kaya ang gawa ko nagsi-shift gear na ko before mag-start ng engine kasi malambot po ang kambyo pag hindi pa naka-start. pag on the road naman po and running, no problem naman po shifting gear.

Mababa ba ang tapak ng clutch? Bleed mo ang fluid baka may hangin kaya hindi fully dis-engaged ang clutch disc, pag malamig pa malakas ang drag pero pag mainit eh di masyado kaya no problem ang shifting pag tumtakbo na.

sagad sir sa floor ang tapak ng clutch. ganun nga napansin ko, pag malamig pa engine hirap mag-shift kaya minsan binobomba ko pa clutch. binuksan ko baso ng clutch fluid may nakalutang na plastic parang coin. ganun ba sir talaga clutch fluid reservoir ng honda? hindi pa kasi ako masyado familiar sa honda components. thanks sir sa reply!

It depends. If it's just as hard to put it in 4th as it is to put it in first, then it's a clutch problem.

moreover, your car is from the 90s and your clutch might be worn out if it hasn't been replaced yet. if you can have that checked by a reputable mechanic, it will be better before the tranny gets affected.
