Gen 1 RT4wd gearbox

gud am to all especially to gen 1 owners, has anyone experience replacing the rear gearbox of your gen 1, yung sa friend ko kasi nagshu-shudder (parang vibrate) ang rear pag naliko at pag unang bigay mo ng gas. parang sumasabay yung likod palagi well i know it's real time but i think theres a problem inside the gearbox, ok naman ang level ng oil at kapapalit lang din. Now were thinking of repalcing the whole rear box or paayos na lang, what we don't know lang kasi is kung ano talaga problema? Pag straight na byahe all is well but pag lumiliko lang talaga naririnig mo yung tunog na parang cv-joint na sira. Just want to know if anyone had experience the same thing as we do, TIA to all.

it's the rear diff. try changing the fluid again to flush it, pag neglected kasi ito usually nassira talaga. if it doesn't help, check the bearings next, then the brakes. while you're at it, check the big driveshaft connecting the engine to the rear diff... have a look at the bushings and bearings there.

final option would always be to replace the diff. surplus lang, never buy new, alam ko nasa 50k plus yan new.

you can also totally disconnect and remove the rear diff, if 4wd doesn't really matter to your friend. maybe the casa can do this for you. sa states kasi yung LX model spec ng crv na yan usually walang rear diff. LX is base model.
