April 22nd, 2009 12:23 AM #32Pero kidding aside, no freshener is still the best "freshener". Just make sure lagi kang mabango kapag gamit mo yung tsikot, tapos wag kang masyadong magsasakay ng mababaho (hehe).

May 30th, 2009 03:38 PM #33Mga Bro! tama kayong lahat sa mga gamit nyo na fresheners, I agree sa New Car scent, for me it's the best.
Baking soda is good in removing bad odors. You can also try PANDAN leaves, just place it under the car seats. You can buy pandan leaves in all major supermarkets. One thing good about pandan, mura na takot pa ipis sa amoy!
Also use it for the house sa loob nang mga kitchen cabinets.

First time I heard about using pandan leaves to deodorize the car. I am using a bunch of charcoal....
Kasi, to my mind friends and associates would surely give you a naughty grin, when they get into your car, realize the smell and say,- "Pare, ayos ang kotse mo,- amoy ***'pandan'***"....

I once rode a taxi (Altis, not a Civic) and the driver uses Johnson's Baby Cologne as a car freshener. He just put some in the aircon vents. Well, smells great.

I'm not terribly specific on car air fresheners but California Scents Coronado Cherry is pretty good. Mine lasted four months. To remove scents, I use a stack of charcoal - this is very effective since my car's a Jazz and when I transport food the scent circulates throughout the whole interior. To remove the scent of paint, my girlfriend's dad suggested I leave a small dish of vinegar inside...supposedly effective.

^ I was thinking of the same thing! hahahaha!
I've been using California Scents Coronado Cherry for more than 10 years already. I've never used any other brand.

I've stopped using car perfumes. You don't know what they put in those stuff.
