    mga sir.may honda esi ako.ang nka lagay sa engine nya ay d15b.pro ang mga nakikita kong d15b na engine ung dip stick pra sa oil ay nka lagay sa gitna ng makina.eh yung sakin nka lagay sa gilid.posible ba na indi un d15b na makina?and may d15b ba na hindi vtec?tanong ko lng po.

    Pano mo naman nasabing d15b yung makina mo?

    May VTEC ba na nakalagay sa valve cover?

    Pa-post nalang ng picture.

    Check mo maige kung may vtec solenoid o wala:


    Ang JDM D15B VTEC engine ay nasa gitna ang oil dipstick.

    Lahat ng D15B ay may VTEC (single at dual vtec), pero hindi lahat ng D15 ay D15B.

    Wala ata lumabas sa Pilipinas na VTEC na ESi. Programmed fuel injection lang ang meron sya. Yung 1996 na Civic VTi, sya yung unang nagkaroon ng VTEC dito satin.

    Yung mga ESi na may VTEC baka nag engine transplant na.

    d15b kasi ang naka lagay sa engine nya.yung sa may engine number.e2 ung picture ng makina ko.walang selenoid na pang vtec.kaya po tinatanong ko kung 22ong d15b to kc nga ang alam ko ang d15b ang vtec na.




    nga pala mga sir, pinalitan n ng makina yan, 2nd owner na ako nyan.

    Walang VTEC solenoid.

    Pero D15b nakalagay sa engine ...

    May VTEC logo ba sa valve cover ?

    Ah, okay. Hehe. Sorry, wala kasing pics lumabas kanina.

    AFAIK, JDM D15B SOHC 1.5L yang engine mo. Basing from its looks. .

    Non-vtec din siya. CMIIW.

    Yeah, alam ko 1.5L lang yan bro.

    Uhm, tingin ko walang VTEC yan since sabi mo walang VTEC solenoid and yung valve cover nga, walang VTEC na nakasulat yet may D15B code sa may engine.

    As per search din sa internet, there's such thing as D15B non-vtec nga.

    matanong ko ndin pala mga tol, kelangan ba dapat kpg sstart ko na yun oto ko dapat bng hintayin ko muna na mamatay ung CEL(check engine light)?

    un kc ang sbi skin nun kakilala kong tuner ng honda eh at specialty nya mgaus ng mga ecu

    pro nasubukan ko na din nman na istart ung oto ko na di pa patay ung CEL at ngstart nman cya.kc ung iba kong kakilala na kapreho kong oto d nman nila hnhintay mamatay cel bago start.

    kung sakali bng gawin ko na start agad at d na mghintay mwala CEL eh may masisira ba sa electrical ng oto ko?

    I'm driving my second JDM D15B-powered ESi for a month now and the CEL persists throughout drives, from start to engine off, and which is probably due to a failing sensor (maybe the throttle position sensor).

    Wala naman naging problema except that on cold starts, the ECU won't do the Honda-normal 1500 rpm cold idle speed til thermostat opens.

    Regarding your question, yours is probably running on a D15B block (as seen in the picture) but not on a JDM D15B VTEC head, as you would like to believe.

    Not all D15s are D15Bs.

    Taking a second look at your engine, it's probably JDM D15B block running on local City Type Z or Civic LXi head. These heads are interchangeable bolt-ons to D15s.

    we have the same engine TS, but yung saken is may 2 vtec solenoids, d15b 3 stage vtec, bat ganun wala ka solenoid, possible din na pinalitan yung block niya before nang d15b block and iba ang head kaya non vtec, nilagay lang yung valve cover nang d15b, wala kasi talaga vtec na nakalagay sa d15b 3 stage valve cover..

    Yes, pero wala siyang solenoid eh.

    Yung silvertop head na yun is yung pang-3 stage diba?
