July 20th, 2008 12:07 AM #17Glenn, I need to repair my bumper also. Were you able to fix your bumper na? Ok ba yung magpa fiber? Saan mo pinagawa?

i don't like the tahi or fiberglass repair method, especially on a section of the bumper that potentially flexes a lot like that bumper corner. the mounting points also appear to be ripped off, so the repair on that would probably be mickey-mouse as well.
i would replace the bumper para iwas sakit ulo. the guy who suggested looking for a surplus unit has the right idea. just pick one that only needs painting and/or minor refinishing op kors - useless kung may punit din yung nakuha mo :bwahaha:
and it's not true that painting a new bumper involves extra labor. it's easier to paint a new, clean bumper, than to repair, putty, sand, and paint a screwed-up one.

masmaganda daw kung reinforced iyan ng perforated gi sheet. may tendency din kasi pumutok agad ang tahi. pero surplus is still the way to go if it's not too much of a hassle for you
